I spent my early adult years as a guitarist/songwriter before returning to University at the age of 32. My interest in how the world works led me into Economics and Demography during which time I discovered a taste and aptitude for engaging with technical issues. Success now means establishing my reputation as a person who can apply rigorous logic and creative imagination to the task of making the tools for analysis and reporting. I've set about continually improving my ability as a coder while promoting a cooperative, businesslike, and positive approach to working with others. I'm now seeking opportunities to direct my career towards web development. I was born in 1954 in Heidelberg, Germany; am an American national but resident in Britain with two British sons by my first marriage and one British stepson by my second. |

My leisure interests include football, having followed my sons into the game. I manage and play for a 'veterans' (over 35) team and hold a season ticket for a prominent East Anglian professional team. I also enjoy playing the guitar and singing and occasionally penning a song or poem. |
